Hello,

No, this is not spam. But it may contain cheese.

Actually, I am trying to find a writers group in the Topeka area, and stumbled upon your blog in my odd word pairings. There's a vague reference to one at Barnes & Noble, but it's almost a month off.

Surely, this town has more than one writers group. (Maybe it does, and don't call me Shirley.) Can you be of any assistance?

My email is smegthat@aol.com. And I'm not a total weirdo. I'm including addresses to my two Blogspot sites to validate I do exist and pretend to be a writer.

Hey, Lisa,

Thanks so much for the wonderful presentation yesterday for members of the Kansas City Writers Meetup group.

Your tips for writing effective dialogue were super! In fact, I put some of them up at my site. Hope that's okay.

Happy writing!
